Gadget Review: Stun Gun

Well, I've now created my very own stun gun, and am here to provide you with some very important safety tips. I used a Tevion disposable camera. Here it is:

Now just take a look at this video, and you will understand how dangerous this device can be!

Okay, here's my advice on how to use this device safely. Without the proper use, someone can get seriously hurt!
  1. I suggest that you do not build this device unless you are thirteen years of age and above, and even so, you should have adult supervision.
  2. When locating the capacitor, be extremely careful not to touch it until you have discharged all the energy.
  3. The only use for this stun gun is self defense, and even then, use it only if extremely necessary.
  4. Keep this in a very safe place, perhaps a locked safe. When storing it, remove the battery and discharge the energy thoroughly (even though the battery is out, the capacitor will still store energy until discharged). If not discharged, it can start a fire.
  5. Wear safety goggles; when testing (on screwdriver only) the sparks can fly.
Note that the ends of the paper clips will be sharp (not to mention hot; don't touch them after shocking), so curl the ends.

Please use this with extreme care; I do not take any responsibility for any injury or damage caused by this device. Use carefully!

Wow! I wouldn't want to be shocked by that! Great job Josie, I can't wait to see it in percon, but it may jeperdise your identity, email me if you don't understand.
